"If I could just do one near perfect thing I'd be happy/They'd write it on my grave, or when they scattered my ashes/On second thoughts I'd rather hang around and be there with my best friend if she wants me" - 'If She Wants Me' by Belle and Sebastian
So, 2010... it always sounds weird to start with.
Things I have done in 2009, in no particular order:
Went skiing
Lost weight
Liked someone
Gotten really drunk
Played some gigs with the band
Loved someone
Smoked (tabacco)
Bought new shoes
Started a radio show
'Lurved' someone
Smoked (weed)
Went to a festival
Went to a smaller festival
Broken up with someone
Went to a house party
Felt insignificant
Been sick in Three Salmons
Kissed a girl
Kissed a boy
Done some art work
Went to London
Went to Coventry
Went to Birmingham
Made a new friend
Saw some bands play
Questioned things
Got a job
Lost a job
Liked someone again.
Hopefully I'll get to do some of these things again in 2010
Well that was pointless.

That Guy with the Sheep Dog
I'd like to say I had what some people call a "Lazy Day" today but it's not entirely true. Sure, I watched two films (Supersize Me and The Simpsons Movie) and ate a box of shortcake biscuits dipped in melted Galaxy but I also left the house to get the Galaxy bar. On my travels I met a really nice guy whom I'd seen around Whitland loads of times before but only ever had very brief conversation with. I recognised him because he had a really big sheep dop with him. I think the dog had one bright blue eye and a green eye but I'll have to confirm that.
On the way back, he told me about how his family members made lots of money in the entertainment business and how he played guitar a bit. I thought I should probably tell him something about myself too so I told him I'd just finished my exams.
He also said something that really stuck - "You can be as dumb as a fucking pole but as long as you have music, it doesn't matter" which was pretty cool. "Music is forever", he said.
What a nice guy.
I asked ffaddyr if he knew him and he said yeah and that he was a nice guy. He then said he used to be a drug dealer.

Ok, ok I think I got it now
(Where the Hell did the window cleaner guy come from? He looks like that guy off Scrubs. Not JD or any of the main characters; one of the other ones.)
Whilst rumaging through some of my old papers, comic strips and other various pieces of crap, I came across a little forgotten gem. And seeing as I'm still in the stage of introducing myself properly on blogs I thought I'd show it to you.
Also, might want to close up on the thing. CLICK IT, HELEDD!
Nat was there when I did this and probably helped with the spelling so I need to credit him or he'll sue me.
Right now I am watching a live session by Beck on some Italian programme, I believe. He's so bad. Like good bad. They so should've put Casio (the Good Stuff) on an album.
I'm supposed to be painting a fence today but I think I'd like to try something out. You know the old saying - "You can tell what kind of person someone is by the youtube videos they watch". From now (10:30) till 11 I'm going to note every youtube video I watch in the space of half an hour. Ok.
10:30 - Beck Live in Studio (Someone commented - "beck is still cool, mutherfukkers". Damn straight)
10:38 - Youtube poop: Freddy Ruins Sam's Life - "Anyone can roast beef... but nobody can pee!"
10:
Ah that idea sucks. Never mind. At least we tried.

"'I like Lou Reed,' she said, sticking her tongue in my ear"
I realised today that I will never be able to listen to the album version of I've Been Tired by Pixies ever again because I found the live one and youtube and it's much better. What a great song it is.
"While we're at it, baby, why don'tcha tell me one of YOUR biggest fears?"
Feeling kind of lonely. I had my last exams today (music technology and english, if yer interested) while everyone else was only beginning with theirs.
"I could tell you stories that will make you cry. What about choo?"
Music technology went well I think because I could ramble on about the cultural significance of Public Enemy. I don't really now THAT much about them but I know enough to get by.
Ok, I'm done listening to that song for now.
Still hoping I get better at this.

Le First Blog
Pretty much the only reason I'm here is because I realised I knew a lot of people who blog which says a lot about me, I suppose. *shrugs*
I know this isn't much of an introduction but I'm hoping these things will write themselves in due time!
I don't know how that picture is supposed to represent me. I play Ukulele... that's something. But I seem to be wearing a skirt...
Hopefully get better at this!
